How did No Tippy Tappy Begin?
No Tippy Tappy’ Soccer began when a red headed 3 year old put on his first pair of soccer boots and while running off to kick his first football, was instructed by his Scottish father; ‘No Tippy Tappy’. From then on, the big eared freckled face ginger took that philosophy with him everytime he stepped on the soccer pitch. To ‘Go for it!‘. To play with a sense of freedom and fun. To give it ‘your all’, unafraid of making mistakes. And at the end of the game, while wiping off the sweat and fiery competitive eye, you keep on the smile because you know you gave it everything you had.
Now a professional soccer player, Ross Smith brings this belief in how Soccer should be played, to Rockwood with summer camps that began in 2009.
Boasting a Coaching staff that involves past and present players from ‘Rep’ Soccer to U.S.A Scholarship athletes, and Professional players, ‘No Tippy Tappy’ soccer offers kids aged 5 - 14 the opportunity to learn and develop new skills (individual and team), and knowledge of the game. Further on, N.T.T. gives kids the opportunity to develop social skills and friendships while participating with other footballers in the community.
